Hardware Program Manager with Top Secret Clearance

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineering Program Manager with Top Secret Clearance to lead and manage complex hardware development projects. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful execution of engineering initiatives, while adhering to stringent security protocols. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and technical skills to drive innovation and efficiency in hardware engineering processes.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage hardware engineering programs from conception to production, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to define project requirements and specifications
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within scope
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges and ensure successful outcomes
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with all security and regulatory requirements, including maintaining Top Secret Clearance protocols
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware engineering program management, preferably in defense or aerospace industries
  • Active Top Secret Clearance is required; ability to obtain additional clearances may be necessary
  • Strong knowledge of hardware development processes, including design, prototyping, testing, and production
  • Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels
